My research focuses on two main areas:
Both topics have in common the use of asymptotic analysis, either as a regularization and relaxation tool for the related minimization problems, or as a homogenization tool for extracting the main order behaviour of a model.
In addition to a careful analysis and a (hopefully) rigorous justification of the results, most of my contributions emphasize applications and propose numerical simulations and algorithms.
